Hello!
I am a Chicago-based animator and artist with experience in both 2D and 3D art and animation, in my senior year at Bradley University in Peoria, IL.
About Me
I have been passionate about art and animation since I was young, and I spend a lot of my free time drawing and animating for pleasure! I'm particularly a fan of drawing and animating animals, as they present a fun challenge in terms of body language and movement.

When I'm not working or drawing, I enjoy playing video games, particularly RPG games such as The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. This has given me a passion for animation for games, and the influence of the art styles of these games can be seen in my art!

I love fantasy worlds and creatures and am particularly interested in Nordic mythology. This has influenced some of my animation work, such as the film this blog is based on. However, I am generally a massive history fan which means I watch a lot of historical dramas in my free time, such as The Last Kingdom, Peaky Blinders, and Medici.

When I'm not playing video games or watching fantasy/historical TV shows, I love painting using acrylic and watercolor paints! I particularly love painting landscapes and environments, as I find they're very relaxing to paint and bring to life!

I love being outdoors, particularly hiking through forests with my two dogs.
The project this blog is dedicated to is one of my senior projects: in this case, a short animated film. This film is based heavily on Nordic mythology and fantasy, which is one of my major inspirations. I'm independently producing this film from pre-production to post, from spring 2022- spring 2023.

I'm hoping to use my animation degree to work as an animator for video games, television, or marketing/commercials, particularly in the Chicagoland area.
